Anchoring our home to build more futures
With the support of the Municipality of Anchorage and the Rasmuson Foundation, we have acquired a building in Midtown that will serve as our new home. But this is more than the purchase of a building.
This space will become our permanent hub, housing our offices, ReStore, and a community classroom. It is the foundation that will allow us to strengthen and expand our mission for years to come.

Create a community room where volunteers and neighbors can gather and serve together

Accessible
Meeting Room

Our building currently does not have an elevator. Some of our homeowners have disabilities, and we must ensure equal access for everyone. To address this, we will create an accessible meeting room on the first floor. When not in use, it will also serve as office space for the ReStore.
Signage

While Habitat has been in Anchorage for more than 30 years now, not everyone knows about our services. New, easy to read signage, will allow more people to access our programs and enable us to support our community, making sure everyone has a safe and affordable place to call home.

ReStore donations are a key part of our operations, but we need to do some major excavation to make this possible. With your support, our drive-up to the donation door will be repaved to create a smooth donation experience for all of our clients.

Most of the first floor will be showroom space for our ReStore, where community members find affordable materials to turn houses into homes.Your support helps sustain our mission through ReStore sales while providing affordable materials for people to improve their spaces.

Our largest ask, but one of the most meaningful. We aim to create a safe and accessible space for our clients, staff, and community members. With an existing elevator shaft in our two-story building and support from partners like you, we can install a new elevator to make access to our offices seamless.

Payments
Please review the Sponsorship Agreement form. Sponsorships over $10,000 can be paid in installments using on a payment plan. Several donors can come together to form a sponsorship.
