Accounting Bookkeeper

Work Location: Office setting - Anchorage, AK – HFHA Headquarters; 3600 Arctic Blvd. Partial remote work acceptable on as-needed basis.
Position Summary
Habitat for Humanity – Anchorage is looking for a dependable accounting bookkeeper.
Must have acceptable capabilities in Excel.
QuickBooks Online experience is highly preferred.
Integrity & discretion to sensitive financial & payroll information is mandatory.
Ability to work cohesively with team members in standard workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Process Accounts Payable weekly:
Distribute invoices to managers for approval.
Proper processing and cost coding of invoices.
Process reimbursement receipts.
Run Payroll bi-weekly with Finance Director.
Process monthly accounting reconciliations:
Bank reconciliations
Assist in mortgage portfolio reconciliations
Assist in Charity Proud reconciliations
Support compliance reporting requirements for various HFHA projects.
Assist Finance Director in monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reviews.
Assist Operations Director in monthly delinquency reporting.
Misc. accounting duties as assigned.
