Planned Giving

I wish I could do more.

That's the comment we often hear from volunteers, donors, and supporters of Anchorage Habitat for Humanity. Our friends are so inspired by Anchorage Habitat's partner families that they want to ensure more families have the security and hope of owning a home far into the future.

Planned Giving

What if we say, "You can do something extraordinary"? We're talking about the opportunity you have to make a planned gift. Unlike a cash gift, a planned gift is typically made from your assets in your estate rather than disposable income, and comes to fruition after your lifetime.

Types of planned gifts include: Securities, IRA charitable rollover, bargain sale, charitable lead trust, bequest, retirement plan, retained life estate, charitable gift annuity, and charitable remainder trust.

To get started with an IRA charitable rollover, estate gift, or bequest, see below. For more information or to have a discussion about other types of Planned Giving, see this brochure

Make a lasting difference in your community, no hammer required.

If you're eager to help at Habitat for Humanity but would rather not swing a hammer, we want you to know that there are still many places you can invest and more opportunities to serve - all of them vitally important to providing safe, stable housing for those who need it.

Here are just a few of the opportunities to serve and invest in a brighter future for local families - but talk with us if you're unsure how you might be able to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Anchorage. If you're ready to begin, contact us and we can work out the details.
